Dewey Library Hosts Dinner for '56 Alums

On Saturday June 3, alumni celebrating their 50th anniversary reunion enjoyed a sit down dinner in the Dewey Library. The alumni were pleased to spend time in what they remember fondly as Hawley Hall. When they were students, the downtown campus was the original location of the University (the uptown campus opened in 1966) so their memories are focused on the buildings of the original downtown campus.

Dewey Library was transformed for the evening of the event into dining room, with linen-clad tables, a wine steward, and a full course meal. It was a delight to see these alumni having a great time reminiscing about their days in college.
