UA Libraries’ Acquisitions Budget Reduction – List of Titles to be Cancelled
UA Libraries Budget Reduction Strategies FY07
Over the past month the Libraries’ bibliographers and their assigned departments have worked to develop strategies to reduce their FY07 acquisitions expenditures. Many of these strategies included canceling journal, standing order, and database subscriptions.
We are aware that many faculty work in interdisciplinary subject areas and we do not want to inadvertently cancel materials that you use but that are charged to another department’s library budget. Therefore, the list of journal, standing order, and database titles to be cancelled is now available for your review.
Please review the list by June 16, 2006 and contact your bibliographer if you have any questions or concerns. Cancellations will be placed with our subscription agents over the summer and will take effect on January 1, 2007.
