University Library Open Until 3 A.M. May 10-17

The University Library will remain open until 3:00am daily starting Wednesday, May 10, to provide a comfortable, quiet environment for study during final exam period. In a unique partnership with the Student Association, security officers will remain in the building after its normal 1 am closing to provide two additional hours of convenient, secure study space until 3:00am from May 10 – May 17. Group study space on the first and basement floors as well as quiet study space on the second and third floors will be available. Photocopiers, UniPrint, general use PCs, will be available for self-service during extended hours. Reference, Circulation, Reserves, and Interactive Media Center operations and services and use of the Public Computing User Room (LI 137) will end at their normal times. Only the University Library on the Podium will have these special extended hours; the Science and Dewey Libraries will close at their regular times. The University Libraries looks forward to a long-term partnership with the Student Association to offer special services to meet the needs of UAlbany students.
