Laptop Lending Service at the University Libraries
Laptops are now available at each of the three libraries for loan to University at Albany students, faculty, and staff. Laptops may be borrowed for four hours or until 30 minutes before the library's closing, whichever is less. Laptops include wireless internet access, CD/DVD drive, both battery and power cord, mouse, Microsoft Office, and other software. More details are available online at http://library.albany.edu/circ/laptops.html Please note that files must be saved to an external drive (USB/jump/flash drive is recommended) and that wireless printing is not yet available. Go to the circulation desk at any of the Libraries to complete a laptop lending agreement and to borrow a laptop today! Use is restricted to the building where the laptop was borrowed. There is no overnight lending. Special fine policies are in effect.
