Safari Tech Books Trial
The University Libraries is hosting a trial for Safari Tech Books. Safari Tech Books is joint venture of O'Reilly Media and the Pearson Technology Group. These two publishers account for over half of all IT books published. The collection contains over 3,700 titles from over 20 imprints such as O'Reilly, Addison Wesley, New Riders, Prentice Hall, and Sams. It covers some of the latest technologies like Java, Web development, enterprise computing, and XML.
Safari Tech Books can be access on campus at http://proquest.safaribooksonline.com/?uicode=albany/. No password is required. The trial will end November 26, 2006. Send comments to Michael Knee mknee@uamail.albany.edu.
