UNIX Mail outage affecting Library Services
The UNIX (Webmail) outage is affecting many services of the Libraries that use the UNIX email system to send out email notices such as ALEPH, ILLiad, UADelivery, etc.
Resumption of limited email service is expected late on Tuesday, May 15 for faculty/staff and late on Wednesday, May 16 for students. Limited service will include the ability to send and receive new messages. Access to messages received prior to this time will be available later this week.
Full email service and restoration of prior mail folders and messages is expected to take several days. However, email messages received between 9:00pm Friday, May 11 and 10:00 am Monday, May 14 are irretrievable.
