The Interactive Media Center Offers Free Classes
The Interactive Media Center offers short classes in multi-media and web design applications. These classes are free and open to the public. Topics include Dreamweaver, Audacity, video digitizing applications, PowerPoint and Adobe Photoshop. Two new classes are offered this semester:

Selected HTML 5 and CSS 3 Techniques
Participants will learn some of the techniques and features that are part of HTML 5 and CSS3. These include how to round corners on divisions, apply drop shadows, embed audio and video, and more. NOTE: An understanding of HTML/XHTML, CSS, and Dreamweaver is mandatory.  Class is offered on     Wednesday, April 18th, 4:00-7:00 in LI b15.


Beginning with Xtranormal
“If you can type, you can make movies…” Xtranormal is an online video rendering service that uses text-to-speech software to create simple animated movies. Learn the process of choosing from a variety of themes, settings, characters, and voices to create fun, educational videos.  The lesson will include both demonstration and hands-on experience with the program, so be sure to sign up for an Xtranormal account (http://www.xtranormal.com) and come with ideas! Class is offered on Wednesday, March 7th, 2:00-3:30 in LI b15.
