DATABASE OF THE MONTH - Testing & Education Reference Center

The Testing and Education Reference Center provides resources for high school, college, and graduate school preparation, including ebooks and online practice tests.  The database includes important information about each test, such as test dates and deadlines, test-taking tips and strategies, and articles about the test.  Graduate school tests covered are the GMAT, GRE, MCAT, LSAT, and MAT. Users need to set up a personal registration so that they can see their test scores and track their progress on practice tests.
The database also contains useful tools for international students.  There are ebooks and online practice tests for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC), and the U.S. Citizenship test.
The section devoted to career tools covers test preparation for careers such as teaching, real estate, accounting, law enforcement, social work, and many more.
In addition to resources for these specific tests, the Testing and Education Reference Center includes information about compiling a resume, learning basic computer skills, and college and scholarship search functions.

Testing & Education Reference Center is available to current students, faculty, and staff. Find it by selecting “Databases” on the University Libraries’ web site (http://library.albany.edu) or access it directly at
