The two main sections of the Encyclopedia of Herbal Medicine cover the 100 key medicinal plants and 450 other medicinal plants. The entries in each section are arranged by the scientific name and include common names, habitat and cultivation, related species, key constituents and actions, research, traditional and current uses, parts used, key preparations and their uses, and self-help uses. Additional topics are covered in otherr sections of the Encyclopedia. There is a general index and an index of herbs by ailment.
