Chemical Abstracts Service Centennial

David Flaxbart (chemistry librarian, University of Texas at Austin) recently published an excellent piece on the Chemical Abstracts Service centennial in Issues in Science and Technology Librarianship; it is entitled "The Chemical Abstracts Centennial: Whither CAS?" He traces the recent history of CAS and SciFinder Scholar, and makes several insightful suggestions on how CAS can imporve SciFinder Scholar.
