SciFinder e-Seminar

CAS is hosting an e-Seminar on November 14, 2007 that focuses on using SciFinder Scholar to explore polymers.

The e-Seminar will be on Wednesday, November 14, 2007, 2 to 3 pm Eastern Standard Time. It will be re-broadcast on November 20, 2007 at 6 am EST and 9 am EST.

This session will cover:

  • How polymers are organized and defined in SciFinder, including monomers, structural repeating units, and nomenclature
  • Various avenues of approach to polymer searching, including molecular formula, substructure, explore by research topic, and document identifier
  • Use of the Analyze/Refine tools to excavate targeted information from answer sets containing polymer information
