Acta Crystallographica Section E: Structure Reports Online is now completely open access and free to all readers. The author fee is $150; University at Albany researchers are eligible for a discount. The other Acta Crystallographica sections, published by the International Union of Crystallography, operate as hybrid open access publications with a $1,000 author fee.
