SciFinder Scholar Enhancements
From SciFinder Solutions:
CAS databases, the world's largest and most comprehensive collection of disclosed chemistry-related information, have recently been updated with the following key enhancements:
176,000 experimental spectra have been added to CAS REGISTRYSM - this includes 90,000 proton NMR spectra, 15,000 carbon-13 spectra, and 71,000 mass spectra. CAS REGISTRY now includes more than 480,000 experimental spectra.
CAS databases now contain more than 200 million cited references.
More than 163,000 exemplified prophetic substances (from the example section of all English, French, and German language basic patents) from over 1,700 published patents have been added to CAS databases.
CASREACT has recently surpassed 15 million single- and multi-step reactions and coverage has been extended to include prophetic reactions.
South Korean patent data is now current through February 2008.
Japanese (JPO), Chinese (SIPO), and South Korean (KIPO) utility models are now being added to the CAS databases. By the end of this year, a backfile from the beginning of 2006 will be included in the CAS databases.
CAS databases have been enhanced with approximately 3,500 World Traditional Medicine (WTM) Chinese patents, bringing the total to 13,500 WTM patents.
Mexican patents through the end of 2007 have been added to CAS databases.
Over 1 million 10-digit CAS Registry Number identifiers have been assigned to newly registered chemicals.
