Children Publish Peer-Reviewed Article

A group of 8- to 10-year-old children publish a peer-reviewed article in Biology Letters. The children are students in the Blackawton Primary School (Blackawton, Devon, UK). Working with a scientist from University College London, they investigated the way bumblebees see colors and patterns.

Science.gov now provides image searching. It uses image metadata from 3 federal agencies: NBII, NASA, and NOAA. Search one, two, or all three image database.

NPG Offers New Open Access Options

Nature Publishing Group (NPG) offers 15 new open access options from its stable of journals. NPG now has 41 journals with open access options, which is 80% of its academic journals. NPG currently publishes 83 journals. More information, including a list of OA journals, is available here.
