The University Libraries will host its fourth annual “A Great Dane Welcome @ Your Library” on Monday, August 28, 1:30 - 3:30 pm at the outside entrance to the University Library.

The "welcome" event is for all University at Albany students. It provides an opportunity to become acquainted with all the University Libraries' resources, services and facilities that support academic success. Learn about our wide-ranging online databases, PAWS (Personalized Assistance With Searching), Ask Us 24/7, Library Zones, collaborative study rooms, iLearn workshops, and the IMC center. Choose from a selection of leisure-reading books donated by library staff, as well as items donated by library vendors ranging from pens, bags, Post-it notes, and much more!

"'A Great Dane Welcome @ Your Library' stands out as one of my favorite University Libraries traditions," says Rebecca Mugridge, Dean of University Libraries. "I look forward to personally welcoming students to the Libraries."
