The University Libraries will host its fifth annual “A Great Dane Welcome @ Your Library”on Monday, August 27, 1:30–3:30 p.m. outside the entrance to the University Library.

The event provides an opportunity for all University at Albany students to learn about library resources and services that support student success—wide-ranging online databases, PAWS (Personalized Assistance with Searching), Ask Us 24/7 online research guidance, library zones, collaborative study rooms, iLearn workshops, and the IMC (Innovate Make Create center). A selection of leisure reading—books specially donated by library staff—and free sunglasses, stadium cups, bookmarks, and stickers will also be available.

“I encourage all students to visit us during the Great Dane Welcome @ Your Library,” says Rebecca Mugridge, Dean of University Libraries. “Our faculty and staff will share many of the library services and resources that support student success.”
